Recent Reads (Mar. 23-29, 2020)

Hello friends! I hope you guys are all safe and healthy. And I hope you guys have a good reading week, unlike me.

I am contemplating if I should still do a Recent Reads post because not much has changed since my post last week. I’ve been reading the same book since then and I haven’t finish ANY BOOK for the whole week. So this is probably the worst reading week of my life for this year. And I think it’s because of the books that I am currently reading. And I could not wait to finish all these books. I am really struggling here and the books, the characters and the plots are not helping, AT ALL.

So before I go on a full ranting mode, let’s get into the books that I am still currently reading…

Strangle Your Gods by Matt Prinz

This is probably the third time that I am including this book in my recent reads. I want to badly finish this book last weekend but I have to put it down. I am already 64% into it but I am really confused with the story. I could not wait to rant, I mean review this book. I will really push myself to finish it this week. I feel like this book is already haunting me.

Sophie’s World by Josten Gaarder

I am really enjoying my time reading this book until the book turns from okay to not so okay to bad to very bad. A history of Philosophy? Yeah. More like turning philosophy into science. I almost gave up on this book but I am almost finish with it and it feels like I’ve wasted my time reading this, might as well finish it and get it over it. I’m already 90% done with this book and you can look forward to my review this week.

So that’s it for this blog. Like I said, I did not finish anything this week so I don’t have a Recently Finished part of this blog like usual. But next week will be different. A new week means another reading week.

I hope you guys have a good reading week!

Until next time,

Maria❤
