WWW Wednesday – 02/12/2020

Hello friends! It’s been awhile since I last participated in WWW Wednesday. But now I am back. What better way to talk about books than this?

Always thankful to Sam @samannelizabeth for hosting this.

If you want to join, all you have to do is answer these questions:

1. What are you currently reading?

2. What did you recently finish reading?

3. What do you think you’ll read next?

So without further ado, let’s talk about books, books and books!

What are you currently reading?

Elantris by Brandon Sanderson

~I am only 25% of this book and I am alternating between audiobook and e-Book. This is my first Brandon Sanderson book and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It is funny and I am excited to explore the world more. I am so glad that I decided to join a readathon for this.

Wayfarer by Alexandra Bracken

~I am already halfway through this book and I was planning to finish this last weekend but sadly it did not happen. Hopefully I will get to finish it this weekend. The story is much better than the first book but I am not inclined to pick it up unlike other books.

What did you recently finish reading?

Follow You Down by Michael Bradley

~I have an ARC of this book long before it came out. But it took me 2 years to finally pick it up. This is a psychological thriller but it deals with a heavy topic – suicide, depression and bullying. This book is not perfect plotwise and the characters are not likable. But it would make you think and wonder about the topic and how it was dealt with. Will post a full review soon.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Walking the Bones by Randall Silvis

~I am planning to clear out all my unread books in NetGalley because I want a clean slate. I received this book back in 2017 and shame on me for not reading it any sooner. I have read the first book in the series and I absolutely loved it. The publisher even reached out to me to review the third book but how can I when I haven’t read the second book yet? So this is the year that I am going to read this.

Charmed and Dangerous: The Rise of the Pretty Committee by Lisi Harrison

~I am planning to reread the whole series because I miss the Pretty Committee so I am starting with this one. But I am still unsure if I can start it this week.

That’s all for this WWW Wednesday. Here is to hoping that this will be a weekly thing.

Till next time!
