It’s the first Wednesday of December & what’s a better way to revive my blog than WWW Wednesday. Doing this weekly really pushed me to read more every week. Very thankful to Sam @Samannelizabeth for hosting this.
If you want to join, all you have to do is answer these three questions:
1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I’ve been reading multiple books lately ever since I have slowly resurfaced from my slump. So I have two books that I’m currently reading and hoping to finish this week.
In the Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken
I enjoyed reading The Darkest Minds before I fell into a slump. And then I picked up Never Fade to try and get out of my slump. So I want to finish this trilogy this year. I’m already halfway there so I know I can finish it this week.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling
I’m in a Harry Potter mood lately and I’m almost finish with my reread of this book. However, I want to finish this book after I finish In the Afterlight but I already finish 2/3. You will just fly through any Harry Potter books.
What did you recently finish reading?
I’ve finished one book and one novella last week. I’m so proud of myself! I can feel it, I can get out of this reading slump.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
Are you even surprised? It’s Harry Xmas. Of course, I need to reread Harry Potter. But unlike before, I reread it mostly through audio book and it’s a new experience for me. I’ve listened to audio books before but this audio book is fascinating with sound effects and voice changing characters.
Sparks Rise by Alexandra Bracken
This is the 2.5 novella for The Darkest Minds trilogy. And I have a love and hate relationship with the novellas in this trilogy. It’s too heartbreaking. Like your hope has been snuffed out of you.
What do you think you will read next?
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
Are you even surprised?🤣 Need I say more?
Beyond the Night by Alexandra Bracken
Again, are you even surprise? This is the 3.5 novella for The Darkest Minds trilogy & of course I’m reading this.
And that my friends is my WWW Wednesday for the first Wednesday of December. Hoping to finally make this a weekly thing.
Till next time!
Maria❤

I haven’t read any of the Harry Potter books, although I’ve seen some of the movies. I love the cover on Prisoner of Azkaban.
Enjoy your reading, and here’s MY WWW POST

I haven’t read the 4th book up to the 7th because I would always stop at the third book.😂😂😂

Like Laurel-Rain, I’m going to confess I’ve never read any of the Harry Potter books (or anything else by J. K. Rowling) but I may have seen a couple of the films on TV.
