Bookish Resolution!

Hi, to my fellow book lovers! It’s that time of the year again when we list down things that we hope, but not sure if we’ll ever do it, to accomplish this year. 2017 will be a good reading year for it, I can see it. In my previous post, I mentioned that 2016 is not a good reading month because reading turns into a chore rather than what it should be. So I decided to relive my love for reading, my goal this year, by rereading the series or trilogy that made me fell in love with reading.

With that being said, I’ll list down my bookish resolution that would help me accomplish my goal of reliving my love of reading for 2017.

  •  20 books. Starting my resolution with my Goodreads goal. I know 20 books are too little compared to my last goal. I’m planning to reread books that I loved to rekindle my love for reading. On top of my list is Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy by Laini Taylor!
  • Project 5. I’ve been meaning to do this ever since I heard about it from Cat at littlebookowl on Youtube. Basically, you read 5 books before buying 1 book. I’m conditioning myself to do this because I’ve been doing excessive hauls lately.
  • Read all the unread books on my shelf. I know I’m not the only one who buy books and keep it unread for months! We, bookworms, have a serious problem when it comes to buying books and not reading it immediately. So I’m planning to read all the unread books on my shelf.
  • Series take down. I have a problem when it comes to finishing a series or a trilogy. I always keep the last book unread on my shelf because I don’t want it to end. And it has to end now because new series are coming! (Ehem Noah Shaw! Ehem Laini Taylor’s new book!)

I guess that’s all my bookish resolution this year. I hope to stick with it and control myself on hoarding books this year.

Till next time!
Maria ❤
