COVER CHANGE!!

Hey, guys! I have an exciting announcement for you. Last night while I was scrolling through Twitter, I saw Laini Taylor repost about the cover change for THE QUEEN OF ATTOLIA Series by Megan Whalen Turner.

If you haven’t heard about this series written by Megan Whalen Turner, you should definitely check it out! It’s considered as a classic and is turning 20 this year, hence the cover change.  I have read the first and second book in this series and I’ll be linking my review below.

I like the old covers BUT I also like these new covers. But before I show you the new cover, I’ll show you the old cover!

I like these covers because the things that are shown on the cover represents something in the book. You would get it while or after reading the books.

BUT the new covers are pretty as well! Shall we take a look?

So pretty right?😍 The lower part of the covers are scenes taken from the book. I like this cover, although I  wish the font has a little more flare that would be more appealing. But the simplicity of the book covers are refreshing and yet it tells you more on what to expect in the story.

I already read The Thief and The Queen of AttoliaThe Thief is a little slow pace but the world building is there. It is not a solid first book but it is a good foundation for the upcoming books. Megan Whalen Turner has prepared the world and the things that the reader needs to know. It’s a fantasy story about a thief named Eugenides who is called The Queen’s Thief. He can steal anything, even a person.😉 With all the politics, war strategies and the smallest touch of romance, I highly recommended these books to anyone who hasn’t read this series before!

But wait!! There is more! The fifth book in the series is coming out next year!! I should have known that the cover change is up to something! Here is the book cover for the fifth book, Thick as Thieves, that will be coming out this May 16, 2017!!
