Queenly Wrap-Up

The month of June is over. And it is time for another wrap-up. I find it funny that the books that I have read are all queenly related and so I decided to name this “Queenly Wrap-Up”.

Glass Sword (Red Queen #2) by Victoria Aveyard

RATING: 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑

I’m quite disappointed with this book. The first book has set my standards and this book feels promising but it’s not. The whole story and the plot are okay but not good or bad, just okay. I expected more from this book. Hence, I will still continue with this series.😊

Queen Song (Red Queen #0.1) by Victoria Aveyard

RATING: 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑

I really don’t like this short story. I like the idea of knowing about the Queen before Elara. However, it’s too slow.😒 And the ending was a rush. Moreover, I expected to know what Elara did in order to get the throne. But did I get it? NO. Very disappointed.

The Queen of Attolia (The Thief #2) by Megan Whalen Turner

RATING: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

I really love this book so much. It does not disappoint and it exceeds my expectation. I’m quite sad that this is one of those under-hyped books.😞 This book is so good! Highly recommending this series. Just bare the first book if you did not like it.

That’s all for my queenly wrap-up. I’m not into reading this past few month. I’m hoping to read more this month because of the biannual readathon! How many books have you read this month? Till next time!
